  7. Remove tin from the saucepan. Let it cool completely before trying to remove it from the tin.
  8. Once it's completely cooled, carefully transfer to a plate. I find it easier to place a plate on top of the tin and turn it quickly. It should easily come free, if not tap the bottom of the tin until it comes free.
  9. Refrigerate until needed.

Combine the condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, and vanilla in a blender or food processor and purée until smooth but not too frothy. Pour custard over the caramel in the prepared pan or ramekins.
