  1. Boil the pasta.
  2. Add oil in a pan and start cooking the meat with the chopped onions for about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Add the tomato paste and mix very well.
  4. Add the curry powder if used along with the mixed vegetables.
  5. SCAUCE:
  6. Melt butter at medium heat.
  7. Add the flour a little at a time and mix quickly before it forms lumps.
  8. Add the milk and mix continuesly.
  9. Add slices of cheddar cheese. And keep stirring.
  10. Add a pinch of thyme and add as much salt as you like.
  11. PUT IT ALL TOGETHER:
  12. Pre- heat oven 180 C.
  13. In a rectangular glass dish add half the amount of pasta.
  14. Then add the minced meat and spread evenly.
  15. Add the other half of the pasta.
  16. Then, layer the whole thing with the bachemel scauce…. Make sure that you get some scauce at the edges so that the pasta isnt dry from the edges.
  17. Put in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned from the top.
  18. Serve with delicious salad.
